Chris Hodgson birthed the idea for his food truck, Dim and Den Sum after visiting taco trucks in New York City. He moved back to Cleveland and began work on the truck, hoping to bring gourmet food to Clevelanders for cheaper prices.
Dim and Den Sum opened in May of 2010 and was the first food truck to hit the streets of Cleveland. Chris worked hand in hand with city officials to draw up permitting and legislature to pave the way for future food trucks to come to Cleveland.
Chris recently was runner up in the Silver Spoon Awards, coming in second to Celebrity chef Michael Symon.
With Dim and Den Sum being so successful, Chris has launched his second truck, Hodge Podge and for the past two months he and his new truck have been filming across the country for season two of the Food Network’s hit show, The Great Food Truck Race. It has just recently returned from the road and you can now find it on the streets of Cleveland!
